As I was driving around today, enjoying the end of summer weather, I began to think about all the things that make me happy.............which are not things at all. Like...........
Enjoying the scenery when the farmers get "artsy."
Peeling potatoes for the chicken dinner at the polish festival. Watching our cats enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful flowers. So enjoy the simplicity around you.......enjoy the quiet or the sounds of the frogs and crickets at night. Life isn't always about things. It is about the simple pleasures we are sometimes to distracted to notice.
