Image
November 15th - Clean Your Refrigerator Day .  To me, this is scheduled perfectly.  Think about it - Thanksgiving is just a few weeks after Clean Your Refrigerator Day .  Genius!  You will have a clear, organized refrigerator for Turkey Day!  And you all know that being organized makes events and parties easier.  Who doesn't want to make Thanksgiving Day easier? Some products that I love to organize a fridge - all from The Container Store. Lazy Susan I love using these - you can easily see what you have with one spin.   Fridge BinzThese are great to help keep your food groups together.  Dairy, lunch fixings, etc. Fridge Binz Wine HolderThese holders are a neat, efficient way to keep your wine chilled and the bottles from tumbling over or rolling around in your fridge.Enjoy your newly organized fridge.  You can do this - I believe in you!

Wire Shelving Solution

Image
So I found this awesome solution on Pinterest yesterday. If you have wire shelving, you will understand how frustrating it can be to place items on the shelves only to have them wind up tilted. The solution?  Self stick tiles!  I love this idea.  You can customize the color to match your taste which is exciting as well. Are you excited about all of your wire shelving now?

Day #7 Gratitude Camino - Being There

Image
I took my mom into the endodontist today for a consultation - which turned into a root canal. The gratitude part in all of this?  I was able to rearrange my afternoon to take care of mom. I am lucky to have the ability to do that. So this afternoon I got mom a root beer float - she could not eat anything solid and she really needed a treat after her procedure.  I got her prescription filled and did some shopping for her. I am so grateful for a career that allows me to do that.

Day # 6 Gratitude Camino - The Great Outdoors

Image
It was a beautiful day here today.  70 degrees and sunshine.  My "treat" for today was getting to walk at the park.  I looked forward to it all day long. This park is, as you can see, is beautiful.  Everyone is friendly.  There are moms with strollers, joggers, seniors, couples and people being walked by their dogs.  (Dog lovers - you know that's true.) As I was just about to the end of my two mile walk, an elderly gentleman waved to me and said, "keep it up!"   He probably noticed me huffing and puffing and figured I could use some words of encouragement.  He was right. So - whatever your goals are - keep it up! Today I am grateful for a beautiful day, fresh air and friendly people.

Day # 5 - Gratitude Camino - Friends that are Like Family

Image
We got to take a road trip yesterday afternoon to see our Godson play football.  We had beautiful weather, our Godson's team won the game and we got to visit with our longtime friends. It was so nice to be able to take an afternoon off to see some different scenery and to do something different.   #Grateful

Day #4 Gratitude Camino - Speaking of Organizing

Image
I have been speaking, speaking, speaking to groups about how to get sorted, de-cluttered and organized.  I have enjoyed every minute of it. I get to talk about what I love, meet new people, make new friends and pass on helpful tips and advice to them. I am so grateful!

Day # 3 Gratitude Camino - Same Road - Different Story

Image
As I was driving back from an in home consultation with a new client,  I took a different way home.  I ended up driving past not one but two former job sites.   I had not driven this way in a few years - easily. I also ended up going past the old job sites again later in the day because the group that I was speaking to met on that same road.   Which made me think about the past.  I used to drive down this road dreading my destination.  Not this time.   I was looking forward to this. So today I am grateful to be traveling the same road but for a much different purpose and with a grateful heart.
