Day Six: Joyfully Organized - Opportunity

Each day from December 7th through the day of the Joyfully Organized Teleclass - January 7th - I will be posting each day about something that made me happy, joyful, smile or laugh - you get the idea.

 It is 60 degrees today in Northern Indiana.  In December.  I wonder if we broke a record for the warmest temperature today?

 I decided to take the opportunity to go for a walk today.  (How could I not?)

 As I was heading around the track I saw two kids rolling down the hill.  This is a sight I would normally see in the Summer - not the middle of December.

Try to take advantage and enjoy opportunities like these.  When you least expect the weather to be warm, the sun to be shining, an unexpected pocket of time opens up - whatever it may be.  Life moves too fast.  Slow down once in a while and look around.

Change is uncomfortable - but gorgeous at the end.

Change is uncomfortable.  It makes me uneasy.  It's unsettling.   Have you ever felt the same? Change, for me, was also necessary.  Which is totally contradictory to what I just said, right? Self-sabotage.  How does it show up for you? Overthinking? Double booking your calendar? Doubting yourself? Negative self-talk? Procrastinating? Not finishing a project? Worrying? Feeling unworthy? All of the above? Think back to the last time self-sabotage showed up for you.  What form did it arrive in?  Use the list above for a reference or write one of your own. Identifying how self-sabotage is showing up for you is the first step in overcoming it. Often times, negative self talk shows up first.  Only to be followed close behind by self-sabotage. Our greatest enemy is usually - ourselves. Being uncomfortable in your own skin often leads to self-sabotage.
