Silly and Ridiculous

Image
I have a question for you - when was the last time you laughed?  I mean, really from the gut.  The kind of laugh that makes you unable to breathe. Next question - what makes you laugh that hard?  Whatever it is, do it. Life is too short to be serious.  So skip instead of walk, lie down outside and look at the sky, go see a funny movie, watch funny cat video's on YouTube. For just a moment, be silly and ridiculous.

The Joyfully Organized Wrap Up

Image
From December 7th through January 7th I posted every day about something that made me joyful, happy, smile or laugh out loud.   I learned a few things about myself by posting each day. It was not all about "things".  I was afraid going into this that it might be.  That was a happy surprise. Thinking of just one thing to be joyful about each day made a big difference in my day. Safety is not something that can be overrated, my family history is really interesting, learn to treat yourself every now and again, my Grandma Laureys was a genius , looking at Hawaii photos in the dead of winter is a real mood lifter, looking back at a year of pictures makes me feel like I have a fantastic life (I do!), lazy is not always a bad thing, the earth and nature are spectacular if you take the time to look and laundry is my drug of choice. So that is my wrap up.  I want to ask you just one question - what made you joyful today? In Joy, Wendy ...

Thank goodness for this little button in my car yesterday.  This little gem is the button to control the seat warmer. Brrrrrr.  Winter is no fun.  I really should not  complain because this winter is much milder so far than last.  But I was sure thankful for that little button yesterday when the temperature was 21 degrees. Each day from December 7th through the day of the  Joyfully Organized Teleclass  - January 7th - I will be posting each day about something that made me happy, joyful, smile or laugh - you get the idea. Late in the afternoon yesterday we got a call from our oldest nephew asking if we wanted to meet for pizza to celebrate his birthday. I'm in the middle of wrapping up a project and Steve had work to do as well. Well, we went to join our family for pizza.  When your nephew calls and says that he wants to spend time with you, you go.  Time flies by so quickly that you have to grab these moments. The pizza was delicious and it was nice to catch up with everyone. What made  you  joyful today? In Joy, Wendy

Day Twenty Seven: Joyfully Organized - Laundry Day!

Each day from December 7th through the day of the  Joyfully Organized Teleclass  - January 7th - I will be posting each day about something that made me happy, joyful, smile or laugh - you get the idea. I am one of those people that love to do laundry.  I know, I know - to most it's a drag.  To me, it's pure joy. There is something very satisfying about taking a pile of laundry and running it through the washer and dryer and then putting it away all nice and neat that appeals to me.
